GENERAL CARE TIPS

All Harriet Sabien jewellery is crafted from quality precious metals designed to last a lifetime. To preserve the integrity of each piece, we recommend the following care practices:

Always remove jewellery when applying products, engaging in physical activities, or handling harsh substances.

Store each piece separately to prevent scratching and tangling.

For pieces with settings or stones, take care not to knock or bend them during wear.

With regular care and mindful storage, your jewellery will remain a lasting part of your collection.

 

STERLING SILVER

Our silver pieces are made from recycled .925 sterling silver and are nickel-free, making them suitable for sensitive skin.

Sterling silver will naturally oxidise over time, especially when exposed to moisture, air, or certain chemicals. To slow down this process and preserve its shine:

Avoid contact with perfumes, moisturisers, sweat, and household cleaning products.

Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.

Store your silver pieces in a cool, dry place—ideally in an airtight pouch or box.

To clean:
Use a soft silver polishing cloth, or gently wash with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft toothbrush. A few drops of eucalyptus oil can help lift tarnish. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.

 

SOLID GOLD

Our fine jewellery is crafted in 9ct and 18ct solid gold.

Gold pieces are more resistant to tarnish but still benefit from gentle care:

Clean with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth.

A gold polishing cloth may be used to restore shine as needed.

As with all fine jewellery, avoid direct contact with chlorine, bleach, and strong chemicals.
